On November 18-20, 2021 WRITE research team will participate at the XVIII national conference of the Italian Association of Chinese Studies (AISC) on “China, Chinese, and Sinology: The State of the Art”. WRITE team will be part of a panel entitled “Writing, Calligraphy and Graffiti Art in Contemporary China”. WRITE Principal Investigator Adriana Iezzi will present WRITE project, its main objectives and its preliminary results, while WRITE PhD students Marta Bisceglia and Martina Merenda will present their research on graffiti art in Shanghai and Chengdu. This panel, proposed by the WRITE Principal Investigator, will be also attended by two other Italian scholars, Dr. Marco Meccarelli (University of Catania, Macerata and Urbino) and Prof. Rita Lombardi (University of Roma Tre).
The conference will be hosted at the University of Turin.
