From 21 to 23 September 2023 WRITE will participate in the XIX AISC 2023 Conference which will take place at the Department of the Italian Institute of Oriental Studies (ISO) of the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. WRITE will present a panel entitled “La calligrafia cinese tra contaminazioni artistiche e nuovi linguaggi espressivo- comunicativi”. Speakers include the Principal Investigator Adriana Iezzi with a speech entitled: “Nuove forme di calligrafia nella Cina contemporanea: un caso di studio”; the PhD student Marta R. Bisceglia with a speech entitled: “La nuova era dei graffiti cinesi: calligrafia, bombing e prose-based graffiti”; the PhD student Martina Merenda with a speech entitled: “Calligrafia e performance art nella Cina Contemporanea”; the Dr. Federica Mirra will present a speech entitled: “Dishu 地书: calligrafia nella Cina urbana contemporanea” and the Dr. Daniele Caccin will present a speech entitled: “Il movimento sperimentale dell’inchiostro di Wang Dongling tra tradizione e innovazione”.
